A WORD ABOUT US

The Falconry Fund, Inc., is a tax exempt US 501(c)(3) charitable and grantmaking organization founded to support and protect the various arts and practices of falconry and the cultural and environmental assets that make it possible. We define falconry as the legal hunting of wild prey species in natural settings with wild-caught or domestically-produced birds of prey: an ancient global tradition and modern practice pursued by enthusiasts on nearly every continent.

WHAT WE DO

Our Mission & Programs

The primary mission of every foundation is to build a sturdy platform of sustained support. Already the beneficiary of its first volunteers, investors and advisers, The Falconry Fund, Inc., must grow in all of its resources to realize the full potential of its mission.

From the earliest conversations that would lead, decades later, to the Fund's creation, the following four areas of action guided its development: Advocacy, Cultural Preservation, Conservation and Education. These fields, so important to assuring a solid future for falconry in the Americas and beyond, will now have a robust framework and resource for their deployment whenever and wherever they are needed. Your support, ideas, and energy will further shape and fuel their lasting positive effects.

We invite you to review and add to the ideas expressed on this site and to contact us with your thoughts.
